The ISRO exam was held on 7th May this year across a number of centers all over India. The shortlisted candidates will be receiving a mail regarding the Interview Date and Venue.
The recruitments draw a lot of aspirants each year vying for a job in the field of satellite communication. There are around 50-80 vacancies each year for the post of Scientist/Engineer including disciplines such as Electronics and Telecommunication, Computer, Mechanical, Electrical, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration and Architecture. These vacancies are filled through GATE exams as well as ISRO exams which it conducts on its own for Non- GATE candidates.
The ISRO exams are conducted each year in the month of May, after GATE and BARC exams. The application process for the same starts in February. The cut off trends from previous years have shown that scoring anything between 110-130, you have more chances of making through; the highest score being close to 160 out of 240.
