Well, this is a question that is the most difficult to answer if you haven’t already made up your mind on becoming an Engineer or a Doctor. Ever since our childhood, we are made to believe that these two are the only major career options. The few, who escape it, are the lucky ones. This said you will be surprised to know there is a much wider horizon in terms of career options you could consider apart from these. Read on to know more.
Let us categorize the options based on your stream.
As can be seen, there are three streams namely Arts, Commerce, and Science. Science is further divided into three sub-groups PCB (Physics+ Chemistry+ Biology), PCM (Physics+ Chemistry+ Mathematics) and PCMB (Physics+ Chemistry+ Mathematics+ Biology).
If you pursued the Arts stream, you probably must have studied History, Geography, English, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, Economics and Multimedia etc. (Many of the IAS, IPS officers we hear of are from Arts background considering the commonality of the subject).
